Rights under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, port it to another provider, or object to a specific use. You can also withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
If you are a tenant and your data is on RentDocs because a landlord added it, the landlord is the controller of that data. Please contact them first — you can reply from the same email or SMS thread they used to send your document pack. If they don't respond within a reasonable time, or if you can't identify them, email us and we will route your request to the right landlord and help facilitate a response.
If you are a landlord (RentDocs customer) or you want to reach us about the account, billing or marketing data we hold as controller, contact us directly.
We aim to respond within one calendar month, as required by UK GDPR. Complex or numerous requests may take up to a further two months; we will tell you if that applies.
You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). We would appreciate the chance to resolve your concern first.
