Is the tenancy agreement legally valid?+
Yes — it's a written assured tenancy compliant with the Renters' Rights Act 2025 (which replaced fixed-term assured shorthold tenancies with open-ended assured periodic tenancies and abolished Section 21 no-fault evictions), the Tenant Fees Act 2019 deposit cap and the current Section 8 possession grounds. Tenancies signed before the switch-over date continue on their existing terms and convert to assured periodic tenancies automatically.
How does the £5/property/month pricing work?+
You pay £5 per property per month (excl. VAT). Add a second let, your bill grows by £5. HMOs add £3/room/month. UK VAT is added at checkout. Cancel anytime.
Do tenants need to install anything?+
No. Tenants open a secure link on their phone from the SMS or email and download every document. No login, no app.
What happens to my data if I cancel?+
Export every certificate and PDF before you leave. We keep your account dormant for 30 days, then delete on request.
Does it cover Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?+
Yes — RentDocs covers all four UK nations.
