These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Private Shares Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 08367665), whose registered office is 1 Billing Road, Northampton, NN1 5AL, trading as RentDocs.co.uk ("RentDocs", "we", "us", "our"), the operator of the RentDocs platform available at rentdocs.co.uk (the "Service").
By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business.
RentDocs provides UK landlords with tools to store compliance certificates, generate tenancy agreements from templates, track deadlines, send document packs and rent reminders, and communicate with tenants. The templates and reminders provided by RentDocs are informational tools and are not legal advice. You are responsible for confirming that any document is appropriate for your specific circumstances.
You must provide accurate information, keep it up to date, and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

The Service, including its software, templates, branding and documentation, is owned by Rentdocs and protected by law. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and to use documents you generate through the Service for your own lettings.
You retain ownership of the content you upload (documents, notes, tenant details). You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment terms, taxes, billing frequency, subscription renewal and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time through your account or via paddle.net. See our Refund Policy for refund details.
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us (via Paddle) in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill or business opportunities. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. On termination you may export your data within a reasonable window, after which it may be deleted.
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence.
