Overview
The tenancy agreement records the parties, the property, the rent and rent day, the deposit, and the rights and obligations of both sides. Post-reform agreements in England must be periodic, must avoid shorthold and fixed-term language, and must be accompanied by the statutory document pack.
Legal requirements
- Landlords must provide a written statement of terms and their address for service of notices.
- Terms must be fair under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

- Generate the agreement from the actual property and tenant details rather than reusing a scanned template.
